North American Transportation Regulations
Welcome to the PMA transportation database. Some of the
photochemicals, digital inkjet inks and cleaning solvents you use in your
imaging lab are classified as hazardous materials by the US Department
of Transportation (DOT) or as dangerous goods by Transport Canada. In both
the US and Canada, a person must be trained and certified before shipping
or receiving materials or goods that are regulated for transportation.
PMA has developed two self-study training courses that
satisfy the transportation training requirements: one each for the US and
Canada. Choose and click on the icon now, to link to the course you would
like to download. Once you have completed the training course, you can
phone for third-party certification for your transportation training.
